The NSE is changing how trading works just before the stock market opens.

The new rules begin on September 7.

From 9:00 AM to 9:05 AM, people can place, change, or cancel both limit and market orders.

Market orders placed during the second phase will be rejected.

The exchange may close this order period at a random time during its final two minutes.
