Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals Corporation, a big Indian fertilizer company, said it made a lot more money in the first quarter of its 2027 financial year.

Its profit jumped 101% to ₹490.04 crore, and it earned more revenue, about ₹3.26 billion.

The company also made a record ₹845 crore in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA).

Each share earned ₹38.82, double what it earned last year.

Two big projects, the Gopalpur TAN and Dahej Nitric Acid plants, are almost finished and will start making money soon.

The company’s leaders say this success shows their strong business model and fit with India’s growth plans.
