Punjab Governor flags off GB Legends Lake to Lake Ultra-2026
A big running race happened in Chandigarh, India.
It was called the GB Legends 'Lake to Lake Ultra-2026.'
The governor of Punjab, Gulab Chand Kataria, started the race by waving a flag.
More than 500 runners joined in races of 30 km, 50 km and 75 km.
They ran through the beautiful Shivalik hills and finished at a lake called Tikkar Taal in Morni.
The race was held around India's Independence Day celebrations.
Its message was to be 'Fit, Healthy and United India.'
Runners like Prateek Verma and Vaishnavi Kaup finished fastest in their races.
The organisers hope the race will become a big event every year.
They also want people to visit the area for sports and nature trips.

Over 500 runners from across India took part in 30 km, 50 km and 75 km races through the Shivalik foothills, finishing at Tikkar Taal in Morni.
The event was organised around Independence Day celebrations to promote the message of a 'Fit, Healthy and United India'.
Prateek Verma won the 75 km Open Men's category with a timing of 6:40:35, while Vaishnavi Kaup topped the 50 km Open Women's category in 6:36:56.
Organisers said the event showcased Chandigarh and the Morni-Shivalik region as destinations for sports, adventure and eco-tourism, and expressed confidence it would grow into a prominent annual event.
