Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha cites state's rapid development
The leader of a state called Tripura in India gave a speech at a market in the capital city.
He was there to welcome new leaders of a union that helps street vendors, and to support a blood donation camp.
The leader said Tripura is doing very well and is now in second place in its region for money and growth.

Chief Minister Manik Saha inaugurated the oath-taking of Tripura Hawkers Union committee members and a blood donation camp at Hawkers' Corner in Agartala.
According to a NITI Aayog report, Tripura ranks second in the Northeast in GSDP and per capita income.
MoUs worth Rs 1 lakh crore were signed at the Tripura Destination Business Conclave with about 1,200 businessmen and industrialists participating.
The state has provided 21,000 government jobs, with 5,000 more employed through government outsourcing, and has undertaken infrastructure projects worth over Rs 1,500 crore this year.
Tripura's honey, pineapple, jackfruit and other agricultural produce are now being exported to other states and abroad.
