PM Modi Warns of Weaponisation of Fuel, Fertilisers and Medicines

India's leader, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, gave a big speech on Independence Day.

He told everyone that countries should make more of these things themselves instead of depending on others.

He said India is working to become stronger and more self-reliant.

He gave examples of Indian farmers paying much less for fertilisers because the government helps with the cost.

His main message was that countries with their own supplies can stay safer and stronger in a changing world.
