India, Cyprus discuss progress on migration and mobility agreement
Leaders from two countries, India and Cyprus, met to talk about an important agreement.
The agreement is about how people from India can safely move to Cyprus for work.
Many Indian workers and professionals live and work in Cyprus.
The leaders want to make sure these workers are treated fairly and kindly.
They also want to make it easy and legal for skilled workers to travel between the two countries.
The leaders agreed to work quickly to finish the agreement.
Earlier this year, the President of Cyprus visited India.
During that visit, the two countries became closer partners.
This meeting shows that India and Cyprus want to deepen their friendship and strengthen people-to-people ties.
India's High Commissioner to Cyprus, Manish, met Deputy Minister of Migration Nicholas A. Ioannides in Nicosia on Friday.
