Indian Ministers Review Progress on Singapore Strategic Partnership
Indian ministers traveled to Singapore for an important meeting with Singaporean leaders.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman led the Indian group.
The group also included S. Jaishankar, Piyush Goyal, and Jitin Prasada.
They met Singapore’s Prime Minister Lawrence Wong at The Istana.
They reviewed plans for India and Singapore to work more closely together.
These plans include factories, transportation, digital technology, healthcare, job skills, and sustainability.
Jaishankar also met Singapore’s Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan to discuss cooperation and world events.
The two sides also laid the foundation stone for a new building for India’s High Commission.

Jaishankar also met Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan and helped lay the foundation stone for a new Indian High Commission chancery complex.
