Bengaluru plans to build another elevated road in the southern part of the city.

This road would connect Ragigudda and Kanakapura Road.

It would be about 18.5 kilometres long.

Drivers would have to pay a toll to use it.

The road would mostly run near an existing busy road.

It would follow the Pipeline Road route.

It would also be above or beside the Green Line metro in some places.

The project is part of a much larger plan for 13 elevated corridors.

Together, those corridors are expected to cost Rs 18,000 crore.
