Uttar Pradesh Reports Fewer Road Accidents Under Zero Fatality Scheme
Uttar Pradesh reported fewer road accidents during the first eight months of 2026.

Police teams were told to study why crashes happen and fix dangerous problems.
They were also trained in road safety, accident investigations, first aid and CPR.

The decline represented 1,255 fewer accidents and 1,107 lives saved, according to the police statement.
