Nizamabad Police Attach Rs 3.02 Crore in Alprazolam Case
Police in Nizamabad are investigating a group accused of selling an illegal drug called Alprazolam.
They arrested four of the five people booked in the case.
Officers recovered the drug, cars, phones and cash.
Police said the drug came from Rajasthan through Maharashtra.
It was allegedly sold in Nizamabad and Nirmal districts.
Investigators said profits were used to buy land, vehicles and make bank deposits.
These assets, worth about Rs 3.02 crore, have now been attached under the NDPS Act.
Police said they will continue following the money trail and asked people to report drug trafficking.

Four of five people booked under the NDPS Act were arrested, and 1.087 kilograms of Alprazolam was recovered.
Police also seized two cars, five mobile phones and Rs 3.50 lakh in cash.
Investigators said Alprazolam was transported from Rajasthan through Maharashtra to Nizamabad and Nirmal in small batches.
Attached assets included agricultural and vacant land, vehicles and about Rs 5 lakh in bank deposits linked to accused persons and their families.
