Police in Hyderabad arrested three people accused of selling Nitrazepam tablets illegally.

Nitrazepam tablets require a prescription.

Police said Mohammed Ashfaq was found with 800 tablets.

They later arrested Hathagale Ramzane and Mohammed Imran.

The two men had 140 and 900 tablets, respectively.

Altogether, police seized 1,840 tablets.

Police said the tablets were bought for about Rs20 each and sold for Rs50.

Three alleged suppliers have been identified but have not been arrested.
