UP Launches Parivar Santriptikaran Abhiyan to Empower Rural Women
The government of Uttar Pradesh, a big state in India, started a special program called 'Parivar Santriptikaran Abhiyan.'
The program helps women who live in villages become stronger and more independent.
Workers will go door to door to every village and every home to find families that are not yet part of Self-Help Groups.
Self-Help Groups are small clubs where women save money together and help each other.
Once women join these groups, they can get bank loans, training, and jobs.
The government will also open bank accounts for these groups so they can receive money and help directly.
With this help, women can start small businesses like making food, handicrafts, clothes, or dairy products.
The goal is to make sure no family is left out of government help.

The Yogi Government of Uttar Pradesh launched the statewide 'Parivar Santriptikaran Abhiyan' on August 5 to empower rural women.
The campaign runs from August 5 to August 20, featuring village-to-village and door-to-door surveys at development block and gram panchayat levels.
Eligible families not yet associated with Self-Help Groups or the Rural Livelihood Mission will be identified and connected to savings, credit, training, and employment opportunities.
Bank accounts of all eligible Self-Help Groups will be opened immediately so they can directly receive government financial assistance, bank loans, and scheme benefits.
More than 10 lakh 10 thousand Self-Help Groups are active in Uttar Pradesh, with over 1 crore 19 lakh families associated with them.
