Assam Minister Seeks Region-Specific Financing for Agricultural Transformation

The minister highlighted agarwood, premium ginger and turmeric as Assam products requiring improved processing, regulation and export links.
He also sought rapid-response mechanisms for farmers facing floods, droughts and pest outbreaks across Assam and Northeast India.
