The Bhopal city council is meeting after not meeting for almost five months.

The meeting will take place at the council hall in the ISBT at 11 am on Wednesday.

Council members will discuss renting out six unused city-owned buildings and properties.

These leases could provide the city with about Rs 51.14 lakh each month.

Opposition councillors plan to talk about broken roads, flooding, blocked drains and unreliable water supplies.

They also want action on faulty street lights to be discussed.

Shabista Zaki is expected to question why some businesses are being targeted after receiving official permissions.

She also wants answers about the city’s Master Plan and rules for businesses in residential areas.
