Bilawal Bhutto Fires Warning at Islamabad Over PoK Unrest
A leader in Pakistan named Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is very unhappy about what is happening in a place called Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
He says the region is going through the worst problems it has ever faced.
He believes the ruling party, called PML-N, cheated in the elections there.
Bilawal says at least ten elected seats were decided before people even voted.
He wants a special group called a Truth and Reconciliation Commission to be set up.
This group would listen to people's complaints and try to fix old problems fairly.
He asked both protestors and police to stop fighting while the group gets started.
He also promised to make the region a peaceful and prosperous place called Jannat-e-Benazir.
Bilawal warned that voters in Poonch will vote against the PML-N's tiger symbol on August 10, and asked everyone to stay united because of dangers near the borders.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari declared that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir is enduring the 'worst crisis in its history'.
He accused the PML-N of systematically rigging PoK polls, claiming at least ten parliamentary seats were 'pocketed in advance'.
Bilawal proposed the immediate establishment of a Truth and Reconciliation Commission to address long-standing grievances.
He urged a halt to both violent street protests and state security actions until the commission is operationalised.
He warned that voters in Poonch will 'hunt the tiger' against the PML-N on August 10 and pleaded for national unity citing threats from India.
