Indore Approves Link Road, PPP Projects and Civic Infrastructure
Indore’s city government approved several projects to improve the city.
A new road will connect Kanadia Road with Khajrana Temple.
The city also plans an international swimming pool and a smart hub under a flyover.
Private companies may help build and operate some of these projects.
New markets will be built in Subhash Nagar and Vallabh Nagar.
A special street food area will be created near Annapurna Lake.
The city will also process coconut waste at a new plant.
Officials approved other steps involving public spaces, property taxes and worker pay.
Indore Municipal Corporation approved a link road connecting Kanadia Road with Khajrana Temple to improve connectivity and traffic movement.
The corporation approved PPP-based development and operation of an international swimming pool and a smart hub beneath the Footi Kothi flyover.
New markets are planned for Subhash Nagar and Vallabh Nagar, while a street food hub will replace the existing hawkers’ zone near Annapurna Lake.
An agency will be selected to establish and commission a 60-tonne-per-day coconut waste processing plant at Devguradia.
The civic body approved CSR-based public-space improvements, 70 new gantries, property-tax accounts for eligible private properties in illegal colonies and a simplified mutation process.
