Maharashtra FDA Cracks Down on Food Establishments Before Festive Season
Maharashtra's food safety agency inspected food businesses before the festive season.

In the Konkan region, officials seized prohibited food stock worth Rs 2.18 crore from six establishments.
The drive also involved inspections and enforcement actions in Pune and Nashik, including seizures, FIRs, arrests and sealed establishments.
In Akola, the FDA seized 1,900 kg of sweets worth Rs 5.72 lakh that were allegedly transported in unhygienic conditions.
