Gujarat Man Murdered, Body Buried Beneath Factory Floor
Jignesh Mavadiya was a man from Jamnagar, India.
He disappeared and people thought he was in Australia.
His wife, Prithvi, and her lover, Nilesh, are accused of killing him.
They mixed poison into his drink and made him die.
Then they buried his body under a factory floor in a place called Dared GIDC.
A relative who was going to Australia asked for Jignesh’s phone number, which made the family wonder.
Prithvi later admitted to the crime and told the police where the body was.
Police dug up the factory and found bones that they are testing to see if they belong to Jignesh.
The case will be officially filed as murder once the bones are confirmed.
Jignesh Mavadiya, a Jamnagar resident, disappeared for nearly two years before police found his body buried under a factory floor in Dared GIDC.
Police allege he was poisoned with cyanide by his wife Prithvi and her lover Nilesh, who then buried him 12 feet beneath the floor.
The cover‑up was uncovered when a relative traveling to Australia sought Jignesh’s contact details, prompting the family to file a complaint.
Prithvi confessed to the crime and identified the burial site, leading to an excavation that recovered skeletal remains sent for DNA analysis.
A murder case will be registered once the remains are identified, with charges also for destruction of evidence.
