Mangaluru Rail Area Set To Come Under South Western Railway
Mangaluru’s railway lines are currently managed by three different railway organizations.
These are Southern Railway, South Western Railway, and Konkan Railway Corporation Limited.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said this arrangement is causing operational problems.
He discussed the issue with MPs from Kerala on Monday.
The government plans to place the entire Mangaluru area under South Western Railway.
