Special Aadhaar service camps begin in NTR district
An Aadhaar card is a special identity card that many people in India use.
Making sure it has the correct name, address, and photo is very important.
The government official in charge of NTR district, Dr G Lakshmisha, wants to help everyone keep their card up to date.
So the district is setting up special help camps, like booths where people can get assistance.
These camps will be open from August 11 to 14 and again from August 17 to 29.
They will be placed in schools, colleges, and local offices so people don't have to travel far.
At the camps, people can get a new card, fix their name, change their address, or update their phone number.
Children between five and 15 years old must get their fingerprints and photos updated at these camps.
Students are encouraged to check their details at camps near their schools.
Keeping the card updated helps families receive government services and welfare benefits more easily.
Special Aadhaar service camps will run across NTR district from August 11-14 and August 17-29.
Camps will be held at selected Swarna Gramams, Swarna Ward offices, government schools and colleges.
Services include new Aadhaar enrolment, name corrections, address/date of birth/mobile number changes, and biometric updates.
Biometric updates are mandatory for children aged five to 15 years, with updates also available for those 15 and above.
Collector Dr G Lakshmisha said accurate Aadhaar details help people access government services and welfare schemes without difficulty.
