UIDAI Completes Two Crore Aadhaar Updates For Schoolchildren
UIDAI is the organization that manages Aadhaar in India.
It has updated the fingerprints and eye information of more than two crore schoolchildren.
The work happened through special camps held in about 1.56 lakh schools.
The drive began in September 2025.
Children under five usually have only their photo and basic details recorded because their fingerprints and eye patterns are still developing.
