National seminar spotlights scientific conservation of India's ancient manuscripts

In a city called Tirupati, grown-ups held a special meeting about very old books.

These books, called manuscripts, tell us about India's history and culture.

The meeting was arranged by two important groups, IGNCA and SV Vedic University.

Many smart people like teachers, scholars, and book experts came to the meeting.

They talked about how to keep these old books safe and clean.

A scientist named Achal Pandya showed them special ways to fix damaged pages.

They also talked about taking digital pictures of the books so more people can see them.

That way, even if the old paper wears out, the words will be saved forever.

The leaders said it is very important to protect these treasures for future generations.
