Sanskrit Can Guide India Toward Development, Meghwal Says
A two-day Sanskrit event began in Tirupati.
Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal opened the event.
He said Sanskrit contains knowledge that can help India develop.
He encouraged people to learn Sanskrit and use its ideas to help society.
He also said Sanskrit knowledge could be studied together with modern science and technology.
Several scholars and teachers received awards.
More than 25 books from the university were released.
University leaders also asked students to study Sanskrit more deeply.

The minister highlighted government projects promoting Sanskrit through Central Sanskrit Universities.
The event included honours for scholars, awards, and the release of more than 25 university books.
