MCC Releases NEET MDS Counselling 2026 Bulletin With Freeze-Float Rules

Every year, students in India who want to study to become dental doctors take a big test called NEET MDS.

After the test, they go through a process called counselling to get a seat in a dental college.

A committee called MCC, which stands for Medical Counselling Committee, helps manage this process.

Now, MCC has put out a big booklet with all the rules for the 2026 counselling.

The booklet tells students how to sign up, pay fees, choose their favourite colleges, and get a seat.

There is a new rule called Freeze and Float.

If students 'freeze' their seat, they must go to the college in person to show their papers.

If they 'float', they can wait and try for a better college without reporting yet.

Students also have to pay fees, and how much depends on their category and the type of college.

Deemed University seats cost more money than other seats.
