Latha Rajinikanth launches Makkal Meddai to retain India's glorious past

A lady named Latha Rajinikanth wants to help people in India feel proud of their country.

She works as a film producer and also as a teacher.

On Friday, she started a new website for a project called 'Makkal Meddai'.

'Makkal Meddai' is a way for people to work together for the good of everyone.

It is part of a bigger group called 'Bharat Seva'.

She wants people to remember India's old stories, culture and great leaders.

The project will set up small groups, called 'Sabhas', in every village and town in Tamil Nadu.

That way, help can reach everyone, even people far away in villages.

She also wants young people to read about India's history and the kings of ancient times.

Her dream is for everyone to join together to keep India's glorious past alive.
