APGEA urges Andhra Pradesh government to resolve employee issues

A group called the Andhra Pradesh Government Employees Association speaks up for people who work for the state government.

Their leaders in Anantapur district held a meeting on Saturday.

They asked the state government to fix problems that have been waiting for a long time.

They want a new Pay Revision Commission to check their pay.

They also want the Dearness Allowance money that has not been given yet.

They asked for extra money called Interim Relief to help them while they wait.

They want the old pension system back instead of the new one.

They also want health cards so workers can get medical care without paying cash.

The leaders said they talked to a committee of ministers, but no decisions have been announced.

Now they plan to sign up more members across the district to make their voice stronger.
