PM Modi Asks Parth Pawar About Mother at NDA Breakfast Meet

A very important leader in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, had a breakfast meeting with some new members of Parliament.

These members had just been elected to the Lok Sabha, which is one of India's two houses of Parliament.

At the meeting, Modi spoke kindly to a new member named Parth Pawar in the Marathi language.

He asked Parth how his mother was doing and told him to take care of her.

Parth's father, Ajit Pawar, was a big politician who died in a plane crash in January.

After he passed away, his wife Sunetra took over his job as Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra.

Modi also told the new members to speak during debates in Parliament, which he called the 'supreme temple of democracy.'

He said that because of all the noise and disruption, new members were not getting a chance to talk.

He promised all the members of his political alliance, the NDA, that he stands with them and they have nothing to worry about.
