PM Modi Assures Rebel TMC, Ex-Uddhav Sena MPs Full Support

India's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, had a breakfast meeting with some new Members of Parliament from his political alliance, the NDA.

Lately, Parliament has been very loud because some members keep shouting and disrupting the proceedings.

Because of all that noise, the new members have not gotten a chance to talk and share their ideas.

Mr. Modi said that is not fair, and he called Parliament the most important place for democracy.

He told them to study the history of Parliament so they can prepare good debates.

He also told them to work for the development of their states and to talk to farmers and labourers to understand their problems.

Some of the new members recently left other political parties, and they were worried about criticism from their old parties.

Mr. Modi told them not to worry because he is with them and the NDA is like one big family where everyone is respected.

After the meeting, he spoke with each member personally to ask how they were doing.
