New Blue Economy Centre Aims to Advance Sustainable Ocean Growth
A new Centre of Excellence on Blue Economy has opened at Vignan’s University in Vadlamudi.
It will study how people can use the ocean without damaging it.
Dr Shailesh Nayak said healthy oceans are important for future economic growth.
The Centre will work on marine resources, coastal protection and ocean technology.
It will also support research, policies and job-related skills.
Experts said Andhra Pradesh has strong potential because of its coastline and technology capabilities.
