Taiwan Offers Indian Students Scholarships, Stipends up to Rs 60,000
Taiwan wants to help students from India study there.
It is offering money called scholarships for school and living costs.
Some students can get up to Rs 60,000 every month.
Students studying for Master's or PhD degrees can get that amount.
Undergraduate students can get between Rs 40,000 and Rs 45,000 each month.
There is also a programme called TEEP where students work in research labs for three to six months.
TEEP gives them up to Rs 45,000 a month.
About 500 Indian students are already taking part.
Teachers from Asia University visited Vignan University in India to talk about working together on computers, robotics and healthcare.
They hope India's smart students will help build new technology.
Taiwan is offering scholarships and stipends to Indian students, with Master's and PhD students eligible for around Rs 60,000 a month.
The Taiwan Experience Education Programme (TEEP) provides living stipends of up to Rs 45,000 a month for three- to six-month research internships.
Approximately 500 Indian students are currently in TEEP, and 47 Indian students received Taiwan Scholarships this year.
Asia University representatives visited Vignan University in Guntur to explore partnerships in AI, semiconductors, smart healthcare, big data, robotics and the circular economy.
The Huayi Scholarship offers three-month to one-year Mandarin courses, while Taiwan Education Centres at Indian universities promote scholarships and exchanges.
