Congress roundtable demands social justice policy and Rayalaseema package
A group of people from a political party called the Congress met in a city called Kurnool.
They had a big meeting to talk about helping people who are not treated fairly.
The meeting was led by a leader named B Kranthi Naidu.
They said the state government has not done enough to make things fair for everyone.
They want a new plan called the Social Justice Policy to help people.
They also want a special scorecard showing how fair each district is.
They asked for more jobs, schools, hospitals, water for farming, and training centres in their area.
They think their region, called Rayalaseema, has been left behind.
The group will send their ideas to the President, Governor, and Chief Minister.
Before the meeting, they stayed quiet for a minute to remember people who died in Chunduru.
District Congress Committee held a round table conference in Kurnool on Thursday, chaired by DCC president Advocate B Kranthi Naidu.
Participants alleged the State government failed to implement social justice and uphold constitutional values.
The meeting resolved to seek an Andhra Pradesh Social Justice Policy–2035 and a district-wise Social Justice Index.
A special package for Kurnool was demanded, prioritising industries, skill centres, quality education, healthcare, irrigation and employment.
The resolution will be forwarded to the President, Governor, Chief Minister and other authorities; the conference began with a minute's silence for Chunduru victims.
