President Murmu to Honour 48 Teachers on Teachers’ Day
President Droupadi Murmu will give awards to 48 school teachers.
The ceremony will happen on Teachers’ Day, September 5, 2026.
It will be held at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
The teachers were chosen in three steps at the district, state and national levels.
They come from 27 states, seven Union Territories and six central government organisations.
There are 26 male teachers and 22 female teachers among the winners.
