MCD Approves 75% Rebate on PM-UDAY Regularisation Charges
The MCD wants people in unauthorised colonies to receive legal property rights.

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi approved up to a 75% rebate on charges for regularising houses in unauthorised colonies under the PM-UDAY Scheme.
The rebate applies to applicants completing regularisation by 31 October 2026, and would continue if the deadline is extended.
The rebate covers Compensatory Regulatory, C&D, Development and Admin/IT charges.
Several other charges, including Permit Fee, Betterment Charge, Levy and Labour Cess, had already been excluded from regularisation costs.
MCD has introduced awareness campaigns and self-assessment certificates through listed professionals to speed up applications.
