Telangana Begins Regularising Properties Under Section 22-A List
Some land in Telangana was listed as restricted under a rule called Section 22-A.
This made it difficult for owners to complete property transactions or resolve ownership issues.
The government says it will start regularising these properties from Saturday.
It created a special committee to study the problems and speed up solutions.
DS Lokesh Kumar will lead the committee.
Two other senior officials will serve on it.
The government also approved regularisation for 9,700 plots in LB Nagar.
Residents who built homes there decades ago were asked to contact local authorities to complete the process.
The Telangana government will begin regularising properties included on the Section 22-A prohibited land list from Saturday.
A special high-level committee was established under GO Rt No 564 to address Section 22-A cases.
CCLA Commissioner DS Lokesh Kumar will chair the committee, with two senior officials as members.
The committee will examine public difficulties caused by prohibited land lists and create a plan for faster resolution.
The government also issued a memo regularising 9,700 plots under GO 118 in LB Nagar, Rangareddy district.
