Delhi Civic Body Reports Rs 80 Crore Parking Dues
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi says parking operators owe it more than Rs 80 crore.
This unpaid money includes licence fees and contract dues from the past three years.
The MCD is also holding almost Rs 109 crore in deposits and security amounts.
Some parking contractors did not pay what they owed.

Delhi currently has 374 operating parking sites.
Twenty-five contracts have expired, while 155 more are still waiting for renewal or re-tendering.
The MCD also wants to create 83 new parking sites to reduce traffic problems and raise municipal revenue.
