Affluent Delhi Seats See Steeper Voter Drop After Revision
Delhi published a new draft list of voters after a special checking process.
The list has fewer voters than the earlier list.
Overall, 47.5 lakh names do not appear in the new draft rolls.
Affluent areas lost 37.4% of their listed voters.
Areas with many unauthorised colonies and slum clusters lost 35.7%.
This means the drop was slightly larger in affluent constituencies.
R K Puram had the biggest decrease among the affluent areas.
Officials will use the draft list as part of the electoral-roll process.

R K Puram recorded the largest reduction among affluent seats, at 44.4%, with 57,735 names excluded.
