Pune: 70-Year-Old Man Attacked With Sickle By Son-in-Law; Accused Arrested

A grandpa in Pune was hurt very badly by his son-in-law.

The son-in-law attacked him with a sharp tool called a sickle.

This happened because the grandpa did not want his daughter to go back to her husband.

The husband used to drink alcohol and often argued with his wife.

The wife had been staying with her parents with her two children for the past four months.

The husband kept asking her to return and even threatened her family.

One day, he went to the place where the grandpa works as a security guard.

He hit the grandpa with the sickle on his face and arm, and the grandpa fell down.

The grandpa was taken to the hospital and is being cared for there.

Policemen caught the son-in-law and arrested him for the attack.
