Four killed in Kyiv strikes; Ukraine targets Russian oil facilities

This story is about a war between two countries, Russia and Ukraine, that has been going on for four years.

One Saturday, Russia sent many drones and missiles at Ukraine's capital city, Kyiv.

The explosions killed four people, including a little three-year-old boy and his grandparents.

Ukraine's soldiers and air defences tried to stop the flying weapons, and they managed to shoot down most of the drones.

But Ukraine does not have enough special missiles to stop every attack.

To fight back, Ukraine sent its own drones to hit oil refineries far inside Russia.

Oil refineries are big factories that make fuel for cars and planes.

A fire at one Russian oil refinery hurt six people, and these attacks have made fuel harder to find in Russia.

Ukraine's president visited a country called Serbia to ask for more support.

He wants other countries to punish Russia with stronger sanctions, which are rules that make it harder for countries to trade with each other.
