Kerala to Set Up Standalone AYUSH University; Panel Drafts Bill

Kerala is a state in India.

Its leaders have decided to build a brand-new university there.

This university will focus on AYUSH, which means old ways of healing like Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy.

A small team of four people was chosen to write the rules for the new university.

The team will study how AYUSH schools work before making its plan.

The plan must be ready within two months.

Once the university opens, all the AYUSH schools in Kerala will belong to it.

Students can study traditional healing in one place, all together.

The university will also help with research and making medicines.

Leaders hope this will make AYUSH education better and known around the world.
