Telangana Ward Officers Complete Three-Day Sanitation Training Programme
Telangana held a three-day training programme for municipal ward officers.

Forty officers attended the first training batch.
They created sanitation improvement plans that can be used in their own wards.
The CDMA and NIUM conducted a three-day sanitation and solid waste management programme for Telangana ward officers.
The workshop was held from September 21 to 23 at RCUES, Osmania University.
Training covered the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026, effective from April 1, 2026.
Sessions addressed waste segregation, collection routes, processing, sanitation, worker safety, GPS tracking and digital reporting tools.
The initial batch included 40 officers, who prepared ward-level sanitation improvement plans for their municipalities.
