Anthropic Expands Claude AI Inference to India via Amazon Bedrock
Anthropic, a big AI company, is making its smart assistant Claude easier to use in India.
It will run on computers inside India so the data stays there.
This helps banks, insurance companies, and the government keep their information safe.
Anthropic also opened an office in Bengaluru and is working with local partners to improve the assistant for Indian languages.
The move is part of a plan to use AI responsibly in India.
Anthropic will launch in‑country inference for Claude via Amazon Bedrock in India.
Requests will be processed on servers located in India, keeping data local.
Indian banks, insurers, telecoms, and government agencies can use Claude with audit trails and compliance controls.
