Police in Sendhwa carried out a large operation against illegally grown cannabis plants.

They searched hilly and forested areas across 19 villages.

More than 400 police personnel worked in 12 teams.

Drones helped them look for suspicious fields.

They found cannabis plants in five fields and seized more than 11,000 plants.

The plants weighed over 23 quintals and were worth more than ₹1 crore.

Police registered five cases under a drug-control law.

Along with an earlier seizure, the police said they had taken more than 34 quintals in two days.
