Collector Himanshu Shukla checks welfare schemes
Collector Himanshu Shukla, who is in charge of Nellore district, started a program called 'Palle Veekshanam' to check how well the government's welfare and development schemes are working in the villages.
He has visited 50 villages so far and has seen how schemes like MNREGS, Anganwadi Center, and Swachh Bharath Mission are being implemented.
He also talked to the people in the villages and received their requests and complaints.
He promised that all the petitions received during these village tours will be uploaded to a special portal and will be resolved within 30 days.

He toured Venkatachalam village and Sarvepalli constituency with local MLA Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy.
He received representations from the public, mostly related to requests for house sites.
He instructed the local MRO to identify government land for house sites and assured resolution of petitions within 30 days.
