Khammam Prepares Extensive Safety Measures for Ganesh Immersion
Khammam officials are preparing for people to immerse Ganesh idols in water on Tuesday.
They want the event to be peaceful and safe.
Cranes will help lift and immerse the idols.
Trained swimmers and rescue boats will be ready in case someone needs help.
Life jackets, ropes and other safety equipment will also be available.
Officials are arranging clean areas, drinking water, lights and barricades along the routes.
Doctors, medicines and ambulances will be ready for emergencies.
Fire engines and rescue teams will also be stationed nearby.
The Collector asked devotees to follow the planned routes and cooperate with officials and police.
Khammam district administration has completed arrangements for safe and peaceful Ganesh idol immersion on Tuesday.
Eighteen regular cranes and two rotating cranes have been deployed for immersion operations.
One hundred fifty trained swimmers, rescue boats and safety equipment will be available at immersion points.
Sanitation, drinking water, lighting, barricading and route maintenance have been arranged along procession routes.
Medical teams, first-aid centres, ambulances, fire engines and rescue vehicles will remain available around the clock.
