Authorities Prepare for Ganesh Idol Immersion Across Nalgonda
Officials in Nalgonda and Suryapet prepared special places for people to immerse Ganesh idols.
They brought cranes, lights, barricades, trained swimmers and rescue teams to help keep everyone safe.
Nalgonda had 6,184 idols installed during the nine-day festival.
Smaller idols will be immersed in Vallabharao Tank, while bigger ones will go to a canal at Vemulapally.
Police will protect the procession route and watch the sensitive Old City area.
