SC Told Regulator Cannot Run Institution It Regulates
The Supreme Court is the highest court in India.
A lawyer named Prashant Bhushan spoke to the judges on Monday.
He said that a group that makes rules for something should not also run that thing.
He was talking about the Bar Council of India, which makes rules for law colleges.
The Bar Council also runs a law college itself.
Bhushan thinks that is not fair.
He said he will ask the court to stop the Bar Council from running the law college.
