As per the apex court's cause list of August 17, a bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V Mohana will hear the matter.
On July 20, the Allahabad High Court's Lucknow bench directed a senior CBI officer to personally file a fresh affidavit detailing progress in the probe into the allegations.
The petition seeking CBI and ED investigation was filed by Karnataka resident and BJP worker S Vignesh Shishir.
The high court treated the matter as part-heard, fixed August 20 as the next hearing date, and directed that the case record remain in a sealed cover.
