Man And Nephew Drown While Fishing In Pratapgarh
A man named Lalle went fishing in a drain near Mendholi Market.
He entered deep water and began to drown.
His uncle, Nanhe, jumped in to try to save him.
The water was deep and the current was strong.
Both men drowned.
Rescue workers and villagers found Nanhe’s body.
They could not find Lalle’s body before darkness.
The search was planned to continue the next morning, and Nanhe’s body was sent for an examination.
Lalle, 25, and his uncle Nanhe Vishwakarma, 45, drowned while fishing near Mendholi Market in Pratapgarh on Saturday evening.
Police said Lalle entered deep water and began drowning before Nanhe jumped in to rescue him.
Nanhe’s body was recovered by the fire brigade and villagers after a strenuous search.
Lalle’s body was not found despite searches continuing until 8 p.m.
The search was suspended because of darkness and was scheduled to resume the next morning; Nanhe’s body was sent for a post-mortem examination.
