MMC Designates 39 Ganesh Immersion Points Across Three Zones
The Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation has chosen 39 places for people to immerse Ganesh idols.
These places are spread across three municipal zones.
They include lakes, small ponds, and portable tanks.
Uppal has 10 places, Malkajgiri has 20, and LB Nagar has nine.
The sites are located in different circles so crowds can be distributed.
Officials want to reduce pressure on large lakes and other water bodies.
The plan is also meant to make the festival safer and easier for local communities.

Malkajgiri Zone has the largest share, with 20 immersion points across four circles.
LB Nagar Zone has nine immersion points, including lakes, artificial tanks, and a site below a flyover.
The distributed facilities are intended to reduce pressure on major water bodies and support safe, orderly immersions.
