India-China Delegates Visit Vizag Sports Facilities, Promote Cooperation
A group of sports officials from China visited Visakhapatnam in India.
They came during an international BRICS sports meeting.
The group visited a sports centre and met young athletes and students.
They asked about how the children train and how new sports talent is found.
The visitors gave gifts to the children and presented a red-horse memento.
Indian officials explained how Andhra Pradesh supports athletes from villages and other areas.
The Chinese delegation looked at the gym, swimming pool and other facilities.
They especially liked a court that can change from badminton to basketball use.
Both sides said sports can help India and China work more closely together.
A high-level Chinese sports delegation visited the S–3 Sports Arena in MVP Colony, Visakhapatnam.
The delegation, led by Cui Jian, interacted with young athletes and students about training and talent development.
Officials outlined Andhra Pradesh initiatives to identify and nurture sporting talent from rural and grassroots levels.
The delegation inspected the gymnasium, swimming pool and multipurpose court-conversion technology.
Cui Jian said sports cooperation between India and China should be further strengthened.
